Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the operator of 易鏡 Yijing handles information supplied or generated when you use the Service. We do not sell personal data or use contact details for unrelated marketing.

1. Controller and purposes

The controller is the operator of the 易鏡 Yijing website. Data is used only to deliver and secure the Service, support sign-in, payments, deep interpretations and records, handle privacy or legally required transaction requests, and meet legal obligations. Contact details are used only for those operational communications.

2. Data we may process

This may include Google account identifiers, name and email; casting method, category, hexagram and time; the question submitted for a deep interpretation; payment status, amount, currency and transaction IDs; promo records; rights requests; and IP address, browser and technical logs. We do not directly store full card numbers.

3. Free versus deep readings

A free basic reading does not transmit or use your free-text question. Only when you choose a paid or promotional deep interpretation are the question and casting sent to the analysis service and stored with your account record. Do not enter unnecessary sensitive data.

4. Providers and international processing

Netlify supplies hosting, Functions, Blobs, Identity, Forms and AI Gateway; Google supplies sign-in; Stripe processes payments; and OpenAI models process deep interpretations. Data may be processed or stored outside Taiwan and is subject to the relevant providers’ terms and privacy policies.

5. Retention

We retain data for as long as needed for accounts, records, transactions, security, disputes, and legal duties. Payment and dispute records may be kept longer where required. When no longer needed, data is deleted, anonymized, or retired where reasonably practicable; backups may clear on their normal cycle.

6. Cookies and local storage

Necessary cookies or browser storage may maintain sign-in, language, and security. Third-party sign-in and checkout pages may use cookies under their own policies. We do not use your contact details for ad targeting.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, a copy, correction, cessation of collection/processing/use, or deletion. We may verify identity, and may restrict requests where retention is legally required.

8. Security, minors, and choices

We use reasonable safeguards but cannot promise zero risk. Without sign-in data you may still read public content and use free casting, but cannot keep member records or obtain a deep interpretation. Payment data is required only for purchases. Minors need guardian involvement.

We may update this policy when the Service or law changes and will show the new version date here.
